Plasma Week July 2025

Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar (Gujarat) conducted Plasma Awareness Week 2025 during 07 - 11 July  2025 at IPR premise for introducing IPR, Plasma to Government schools who usually don't have bus facilities and provide mid day meals/snacks at schools for the students. These visits were facilitated by providing bus service by IPR and Lunch/Snacks to the visiting students and teachers.

07 local Government schools and 1 Javahar Navodaya Vidyalay with 394 students and 24 teachers participated during Plasma Awareness Week July 2025. Students and teachers were introduced to Plasma and its applications by presentation in Gujarati/English.

Students and teachers were shown plasma based exhibits at outreach hall.  Later, they visited SST1 tokamak also. Students and teachers enjoyed Lunch/hot snacks and cold drinks during the visit. Except JNV, all the schools were provided to and fro vehicle facility in commuting between school and IPR.
