Sardar patel Seva Samaj, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad, Gujarat
3, 4 & 5 July 2025

The three-day mega exhibition “Samridh Gujarat 2025” held from 3rd-5th July 2025, organized by the Sansa Foundation was inaugurated by Shri. Dinesh Makwana, Hon’ble MP, Lok Sabha and other distinguished panel of leaders. On behalf of DAE, Institute for Plasma Research, Gandhinagar put up  the DAE exhibition during 3-5 July 2025.

The Department of Atomic Energy (DAE) emerged as one of the most informative and engaging stalls at the event. Through a series of well-designed posters and scientific models, the stall effectively showcased the three-stage Indian Nuclear Power Programme, the radiation processing of cereals and pulses, and popular Trombay crop varieties developed through mutation breeding. It also addressed important topics like the safe disposal of medical waste, emphasizing the department’s commitment to both innovation and safety. Visitors were especially intrigued by the display of advanced models, including the Generic Tokamak, Cryopump Agastya, and the Plasma Pyrolysis System, which illustrated India’s progress in nuclear science and clean technology. The stall successfully educated and inspired attendees, particularly students and science enthusiasts, about the peaceful applications of atomic energy in agriculture, healthcare, and sustainable development.

About 1500 people (students, faculty and others) visited DAE stall during these three days.
