IPR Outreach Activities Related to 70 Years of DAE
Under the DAE Platinum Jubilee celebrations, IPR plans to invites local schools and colleges as well as other outstation educational institutions to visit IPR, FCIPT and its R&D facilities.

A group of 14 B.Tech students and faculty members from Gandhinagar Engineering College (GEC), Gandhinagar visited FCIPT on 6th Sept 2024. At FCIPT, these students and faculty were given an introductory lecture on plasma by Dr. Mukesh Ranjan and then they were shown various plasma based experimental setups by the FCIPT team.

45 students of Dept. of Electrical Engg., Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology, Changa, Anand, Gujarat with 3 faculty members visited IPR on 12th September, 2024. At IPR, these students and faculty were given an introductory lecture on plasma by Ms. Harsha Machchhar and then they were shown various exhibits on plasma at Outreach Hall, 132kV Substation and SST1 tokamak by the Outreach team.

35 students of Dept. of Mechanical Engg., Chandubhai S. Patel Institute of Technology, Changa, Anand, Gujarat with 3 faculty members visited IPR on 18th September, 2024. At IPR, these students and faculty were given an introductory lecture on plasma by Mr. Chetan Jariwala and then they were shown various exhibits on plasma at Outreach Hall, Robotics lab, Cryogenics bay, Science Park and SST1 tokamak by the Outreach team.
