"Plasma Exhibition - Fourth State" (6 days)

6-11 October 2025
The Six-day "Plasma exhibition - Fourth State" from 6th - 11th October 2025 at DAE Convention Centre, Anushaktinagar, Mumbai was hosted by Outreach Division, IPR jointly with Atomic Energy Central School-3 from 8 AM to 6 PM.
Special timings from 6 PM to 8 PM was opened for employees and families of DAE/BARC/HBNI/NPCIL.
Opening Ceremony:
Guests of Honour: Shri K. Jayakumar, Controller, BARC & Dr. G. Sugilal, Associate Dir. Nuclear Recycle Group. Introductory Speech: Dr. Paritosh Chaudhuri, Dean R&D, IPR.
Briefing about Plasma Exhibition: Dr. N.Ramasubramanian, Head, Outreach Division, IPR.
More than 30 Plasma based exhibits including live models, posters & VR were displayed.
Students Training: About 50 students from host schools were trained to explain these plasma models to the visiting students, teachers as well as the families of DAE employees in Anushaktinagar.
General Science Quiz: Conducted with 12 teams of schools students on 9th October 2025.
Tokotoy Competition: Conducted with 15 teams on 11th October 2025.
Teacher's Orientation Program: Was organised for about 40 science teachers.
Closing Ceremony:
Student Volunteer Certificate Distribution; Prize Distribution to Quiz and Tokotoy Competition Winners.
About 2000 visitors (students, faculty and others) visited this exhibition stall during these six days.
DAE has put the inauguation function and the highlights of this Plasma Exhibition on their FaceBook handle "Department of Atomic Energy, India".
