Plasma Exhibition

Institute for Plasma Research (IPR), Gandhinagar (Gujarat), conducted Plasma Exhibition at National Science Day Celebrations 2026 by Gaint Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT),Khodad, Pune, Maharashtra (a facility setup by NCRA-TIFR) at GMRT campus on 28 Feb  and 1 March, 2026.  

      More than 24,000 visitors visited the event. Introduction concepts on Plasma, Tokamak and other applications were demonstrated using Plasma Globe, Tesla Coil, Plasma Grooming Device and Wiggler Exhibits. As a token of visit, schools and colleges were distributed with IPR 2026 calenders. The event was coordinated by Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu and Mr. Akshay from Outreach Division, IPR.

     The interactive exhibits and strong visitor engagement collectively contributed im making this participation an educational and inspiring experience for all attendees.
