As a part of Outreach Activities of IPR, local schools and colleges as well as other outstation educational institutions are invited to visit IPR, FCIPT and its R&D facilities.

Date: 18th May 2026 Morning: 10 AM to 01 PM - IPR & 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM - FCIPT visits.
A group of 28 students and 4 faculty members from Advanced B.Sc. (Phyiscs) Programme-2026 conducted by St. Xaviers College, Ahmedabad on behalf of Vikram A. Sarabhai Community Science Center (VASCSC) and Gujarat Science Academy (GSA) visited IPR and FCIPT to gain insights into fusion research and plasma applications.
Technical Talk: Mr. Manu Bajpai delivered an introductory lecture on Plasma Physics, Tokamak engineering, and the societal benefits of plasma technology.
Live Demonstrations: The visitors interacted with plasma-based exhibits demonstrated by Mr. Chetan, Ms. Pratibha, Mr. Manu, Mr. Gattu Ramesh, Mr. Rahul and Mr. Harsha
Facility Tour: The program concluded with a guided visit to the SST-1 Tokamak, led by Mr. Gattu, where students observed the experimental setup firsthand.

Date: 20th May 2026 14:30 - 17:30 hrs
Students: 49 and Faculty members: 8 of YUva VIgyani KAryakram (YUVIKA) -2026, a spcieal annual programme for school children of class IX by Indian Space Research organisation (ISRO), from Gujarat, UP, Tripura and Chandigarh visited IPR to gain insights into fusion research and plasma applications.
Introductory Talk: Mr. Gattu Ramesh Babu delivered an introductory discussion on Plasma Physics, Tokamak engineering, and the societal benefits of plasma technology.
Live Demonstrations: The visitors interacted with plasma-based exhibits demonstrated by Mr. Gattu Ramesh.

Research Supervisors and Faculty Members: 40 of Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on Research Methodology, Ethics & AI Tools at Extension Centre (EC), Ahmedabad by Gujarat Technological University (GTU), Ahmedabad in collaboration with the National Institute of Technical Teachers' Training and Research (NITTTR), Bhopal visited IPR to gain insights into activities of Outreach Division.
