a. Ph.D. Physics (The Institute for Plasma Research (IPR) offers opportunities for highly motivated students to pursue doctoral research in plasma-related theory, simulations, and experimental studies.)

i. Admissions (All applicants must have cleared a national level exam such as JEST, GATE UGC/CSIR. Eligible applicants should apply to IPR.)

ii. Application procedure (Eligible candidates can apply to IPR Ph.D. program by completing the online application form.)

iii. Scholarships. Candidates selected for the Ph.D. program will receive a scholarship of ₹37,000 + applicable HRA for the first two years. From the third year onwards, the scholarship will be ₹42,000 + HRA for the next three years. Additionally, a contingency grant of ₹60,000 will be provided over five years. Financial assistance of up to ₹2.5 lakhs will be available for attending international conferences.

b. DDFS (Engineering)

i. Admissions (M.Tech students selected through personal interview at BARC opting for persuing Ph.D at IPR against the available project proposals. More will follow Based on an online screening test and interview, with applications submitted via the official DAE porta)

c. Post Doctoral Program

i. Admissions ( IPR invites applications from candidates having Doctoral degree or holding provisional Degree can apply. )

ii. Application procedure (Online application for the the post doctoral positions can be found in IPR website )

iii. Scholarships. ( The postdoctoral fellows shall get a fixed sum of Rs 37000 + Applicable HRA for the first two years. The extension to the third year after successful review will award a sum of 2000 + HRA. In addition to that a Contingency of Rs 60,000. Financial assistance up to 2.5 L for attending a international conference.....)

d. Summer School

i. Admissions (IPR conducts summer school program to provide an understanding on plasma related research in India to the final year students of B.Sc. Physics and B.Tech students from various branches )

ii. Application procedure (completing the online application form, which normally advertised in the month of January )

iii. Stipend. ( All selected students receive a stipend of xxx for the entire tenure of the program in addition to 3rd AC fares from their college to Ahmedabad
